  Filling Playgrounds, Not prisons!

The Bridgeton Area Police Athletic League is a Non-Profit organization with an emphasis on community development.  This organization is operated by the Bridgeton Police Department in conjunction with various community members and leaders.  We intend to achieve this goal by reaching out to our children and provide a positive foundation so that they too can become positive role models in our community.

We have outlined several objectives for this program and with your help, the sky's the limit!

1) Provide a safe place where children can take part in positive activities that eliminate idle time.

2) Provide an environment where children can interact with police officers in a positive manor and allow police officers to serve as positive role models.

3) Provide an environment where character, good sportsmanship, and positive attitude are stressed to children with the hope that they will accept these values and carry them throughout their lives.

4) To provide a safe environment for children to socialize while reducing the violence in their lives.

5)  Most importantly preventing juvenile drug use, juvenile crime, gang affiliations and encouraging juvenile decency.

A strong emphasis is placed on character, sportsmanship, and positive attitude. All participants, coaches, parents, volunteers, and spectators are held to strict behavioral standards.
